A lot of people, the tastiest I have eaten at salteñas very, very long, and a really good concert.
One of Bolivia's most legendary bands played in Stockholm last Saturday. Many devotees Bolivians, but also Peruvians, Chileans and Swedes, was there to see how students' mind turned to music.
For me, it was an introduction. And a pretty good one. For many others, it was a reunion, a nostalgia, or the euphoria of seeing their idols.
Kjarkas was formed in 1965 and has inspired generations of Bolivians in recent years and also musicians from around the world. An example of this could be that one of the musicians are now coming from Japan. This man was so fanatical in the group's music that he not only quite fully learned to play the charango but also learned all the band's recorded songs, which is well over 350 (!) Pieces.
For Swedish ear is enough "Llorando see fue" most famous, albeit not in its original guise. The song was taken by some French producers by the group and kaoma got one hit. Song title had been changed to "Lambada".
Many years later it became a dispute about the matter and the case was crystal clear: Kjarkas had made the original and would have a share of revenues.
It was a great concert on Saturday. With few instruments to create very successful music group. It is beautiful, atmospheric, rhythmically and magnificent in almost the same time, while the fire is there all the time.
I guess I will see them more often. And maybe also a charango ports on the shopping list ...
Below a small clip from the concert:
a draft. I'll try to work a bit with the rhythm. Maybe even build a little more
Subliminal perception is the seed for your happiness;
I lie latent
quite consistently, every day - often several times - waiting
until your reptilian brain says yes
I am the ectopic, exotic, most logical of all the few choices you have left
for I am eufonin, euphoria, well-being, the only permanent
after a few days, weeks, months, years
I am your answer
the package is
on the shelf, far left
A clear sign and you get gut feeling that this particular product is really good
The rain was pouring down and everyone seems to stay inside. I like the rain and have almost always done so. It gives a calmness.
It is by no means harmonizing to sit indoors and look out at the rain. A good opportunity arises when looking up a book, or write to let the calm mirror the guitar or piano.
I read somewhere that rainfall often gives rise to creativity. It has not only to calm the atmosphere and to do without even having a physical impact. Rain molecules containing negatively charged ions. These attract a lot of dirt and dust in the air and just this dirt consists of positively charged ions. The result is air that is much healthier and more oxygen rich.
This explains why you might be alert and know that you feel really good when you are out walking in the rain.
Some say that the same effect, but in a milder degree, awarded when you take a shower. Others argue that the negatively charged ions in itself have a positive impact on human health.
Whatever the scientific explanation is pretty good, I enjoy both watching the rain and walk out of there.
If rain, from wikipedia:
"Rain is precipitation composed exclusively of water. Rain droplet diameter normally ranges between 0.05 and 3.0 mm, but can in rare cases be up to 10 mm before they break up into smaller droplets. [1] Rainfall is the form of precipitation which are most important as a source of fresh water in large parts of the earth and as such a prerequisite for various types of ecosystems. Rain is globally the most important source of hydroelectric power and irrigation. "
